China. SIX FLAGS TO CONQUER CHINA
It is well known that Six Flags, one of the world's largest company in amusment parks, is boosting a big world expansion by planning to open amusement parks in Dubai, Riyadh, Vietnam and China.
But what Six Flags plans to open in China sounds really like a conquest, planning to open 10 amusement parks across this huge country.
Together with Chinese partner Riverside Investment Group, Six Flags Entertainment Corp. announced a multi-million dollar investment to build amusement parks in China, that will mix Chinese tradition with American culture.
Some of the places are already known, like Six Flags Bishan, Six Flags Nanjing, Six Flag Haiyan, Six Flags Zhejiang and Six Flags Chongqing and other are in the basket.
On the other side there are government officials who have recently voiced concerns about rapid theme park growth, since also many other groups like Disney, Universal and other are heavily investing in China and there are heavy signs form the side of Chinese government to more strictly regulate theme parks development
Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, an American corporation based in Texas, in one of the biggest entertainment group in the world, ranked sixth in term of attendance by TEA report; they have parks in US, Canada and Mexico.
The name "Six Flags" refers to the flags of the six different nations that have governed Texas: Spain, France, Mexico, the Republic of Texas, the United States, and the Confederate States of America.
