WHAT IS EN-13814 STANDARD?
The technical standard EN-13814 represents the most important international guideline useful both for the construction and for the use of amusement park attractions. It was published in the year 2005 and was immediately adopted by all the European nations and subsequently it has been applied in many other countries in the world.
The law states that operators must be aware of its content and that thay are therefore responsible for the lack of implementation of technical updates or the failure to apply certain procedures.
WHY DO YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS STANDARD?
The standard tells you what kind of safety your rides must have in order to comply and, in addition, there are minimum requirements for the use and maintenance of the attraction. This course will explain the difference between REPAIR and MODIFICATION and also the most important basic concepts that will allow you to better understand the mechanical resistance and safety systems of passengers.
HOW MUCH DOES THE COURSE LAST?
The points to be treated are really many, so we have divided the topics into three levels.
- LEVEL 1: The basics of the European Standard (1 day)
- LEVEL 2: Fatigue, risk analysis and passenger safety (1 day)
- LEVEL 3: What you need to work in other countries (1 day)
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The courses will be held in Bergantino (Italy), the price is 125 euros/day per person.
According to the requests it will be possible to carry out the course in other cities in Italy, Spain and France, in this case the cost will be increased by the travel expenses.
Minimum number of participants for each course: 10 people.
